Keďže píšem guest blog na blog Vlada Rejholca, jedného z dlhodobo TOP obsahových publisherov, ktorých v affiliate sieti Dognet máme, tak to bude trochu iné. Také, úprimné :)
Publisherom od 16 rokov
Online marketingu a webom sa venujem už viac ako 12 rokov, hoci mám len 28, čo je oveľa menej, ako má Vlado (joke :D). Začínal som s monetizáciou cez Google Adsense a neskôr som prešiel na affiliate marketing. Našťastie ma minuli rôzne pochybné zárobky cez internet ako klikačky, autosurf a podobne. Proste som hneď od začiatku nabehol na kvalitný obsahový marketing.
Preto, keď som začal v roku 2013 budovať Dognet, vtedy ešte s Visibility, bol som jasne pro-publishersky nastavený. Nepoznal som “múdrosti” zo zahraničia a proste som išiel s jasným cieľom, vytvoriť sieť pre obsahových publisherov.
Možno sa to bude zdať až neuveriteľné. Mali sme spustených možno 10-20 kampaní a ja som úprimne nechápal, ako funguje druhá strana ecommerce affiliate marketingu. A to, rôzne iné projekty ako kupónové weby, či cashbacky.
Nemal som tušenie, ako sa k tomu postaviť, lebo predtým som poznal proste proces:
- Urobím si web, napríklad na WP
- Nasekám tam obsah
- Urobím SEO, linkbuilding
- Nasadím monetizáciu (Adsense, alebo affiliate)
- Riešim organik
- Zarábam
To som poznal a pokladal za status quo affiliate marketingu. Že to proste tak je. O nejakých kupónoch a cashbackoch som nemal ani tušenia. Až neskôr sme to začali riešiť, pridávať kupóny a tak. Teda … sme začali … som začal, keďže som Dognet asi rok a pól riešil úplne sám.
Bez know-how zo zahraničia
Ak by som začal budovať Dognet ako pobočku nadnárodnej siete, nikdy by sme nemali mind-set nastavený smerom k obsahovým publisherom. Zo zahraničia by sme dostali jasný pokyn – na prázdnom trhu riešte HLAVNE kupóny a cashbackové systémy. Tie vytvoria objem, na tých sa spravia peniaze.
Na trhu sme neboli prví a týmto štýlom na to už niekto išiel … lebo? Lebo bol a stále je, pobočka. Tým pádom, pre nás vždy bol a stále je, prioritný publisher čo tvorí obsah – magazín, katalóg, blog, recezný web …
Ja nehovorím, že kupónový web alebo cashback je a priori zlý. To určite nie, však som k tomu písal aj niekoľko článkov, napríklad posledný o zle nastavenej affiliate kampani Kytary.cz. Ale je to iný kanál a inak ho vnímajú aj inzerenti.
Edukácia
Preto robíme knižky, HotDognet (na ktorom vystúpil aj sám Vlado), chodíme na konferencie, stretávame sa. Robíme to pre všetkých publisherov a hlavne na podporu nového obsahu, ktorý prináša väčšinu trafficu, ktorý v sieti máme.
Dokonca práve finišujeme knižku pre blogerov, lebo po tom, čo nastala erá influencerov sa dostali do veľmi zlej pozície. Kvalitný obsah nahradili fotky na instagrame. Nuž, to affiliate marketingu veľmi nehrá do karát.
Čiže toľko odo mňa. Možno už rozumiete viac tomu, prečo sme v Dognete zameraní skôr na obsah. Proste to máme v krvi.
