Zjavme mnohým z nás v posledných dňoch (február 2025) prišlo mailom Oficiálne oznámenie o porušení autorských práv k obsahu z akože právnej kancelárie Squire Patton Boggs, ktorá akože zastupuje Warner Music Slovakia. A akože ja (vy) neoprávnene šírim ich audiovizuálne diela.
Prečo to sem vôbec píšem? Poviete si, že to je jasný spam a chodí ho denne kopec. Bohužiaľ tento zjavne pomýlil viacerých ľudí (dokonca aj mňa na pár sekúnd). Zaskočiť vás môže ľahko to, že automaticky neskončil v spame, pochádza od reálnej právnej spoločnosti a jasne súvisí s vašou činnosťou. Snáď článok pomôže viacerým, nenechajú sa nachytať, alebo nemusia zbytočne telefonovať.

- čas je uvádzaný ako 10:00 AM, u nás používame 24 hodinový formát času
- a čo je najdôležitejšie, príloha, resp. link na download „Podrobnosti o obsahu porušenia sú poskytované Squire Patton Boggs.pdf“ je pomerne veľký ZIP súbor 175MB (po rozbalení cez 600 MB)
No a keď si prescanujete tieto podrobnosti o našom strašnom zhrešení, za ktoré nám hrozí 5 rokov basy, tak zistíte, že sa jedná o nebezpečný trojan/malware BackDoor.Remcos.373 / Malware.SwollenFile!1.DDB4 (link na scan na virustotal.com). Čo by sa stalo, ak by ste ho spustili (nielen stiahli a oscanovali ako ja)? Útočník získa kompletnú kontrolu nad vašim počítačom, môže nenápadne spustiť keylogger a odchytiť vaše citlivé dáta, prístupy k účtom a pod.
Nedalo mi a pani právnu zástupkyňu, ktorej meno spameri zneužili, som skúsil kontaktovať. Nebol som zjavne prvý, dnes jej volalo už množstvo ľudí.
